The South Derbyshire District has seven Scout Groups, three Explorer Units, and an active Fellowship. The earliest record of scouting in South Derbyshire is 1st Repton in 1922. In 1935 and 1945 saw Scout groups at Gresley and Woodville. As of 2009 the district has grown immensely.   

The Groups are:  

  • 1st Gresley Scout Group
  • Linton and Seales Group
  • 1st Melbourne Scout Group
  • 1st Newhall Scout Group
  • 1st Repton Scout Group
  • 1st Willington Scout Group
  • 1st Woodville Scout Group
The Explorer Units are:
  • Cobra Explorers 
  • Phoenix Explorers
  • Talisman Explorers
In South Derbyshire a Drum Corp has been set up and will be developing into a band. The Fellowship take an active part in the district, they are getting involved in district events and also county events with other district Fellowships around Derbyshire.
